Joslyn spent ten years in the yoga industry working for successful yoga teachers, attending yoga conferences and retreats, teaching yoga, and managing yoga studios and businesses. This last year, she helped launch a women’s holistic health center offering acupuncture, massage, esthetician services, therapy and naturopathic consultations. Along the way, she founded a freelance writing business focused on the yoga, health and wellness worlds: Outside Eye Consulting.

These days, Joslyn writes full time and publishes several wellness-related blogs. She contributes frequent submissions to the local trip guide web site Trazzler, and has had suggestions published by Daily Candy.

Joslyn is also the founder of the skincare line SimpleBasic: healthy products for your skin made from only the highest quality local, food-grade ingredients. She is highly in tune with eating and shopping locally, in season and organically.

The key to health is balance and knowing your own body's needs. Joslyn helps her readers find their own sense of wellness through the many varied options available, and offers them suggestions for exploring their own versions of health and wellness.
